#32 RB-Jamauri Wakefield honored Dillon by displaying D's last name on the back of the game jersey.  It was awesome to see "Dillon" on the field again as he was in high school.  What a way to honor him and all fallen on VETERANS DAY!

Elementary School Poem

Dillon was published at age ten in the local newspaper.  The messages he wrote at that age still ring in our heads as to how much it told of events to come.  As much as it hurts, it is warming to know that his life was planned and he is with our heavenly father.

"Dillon", a K9 in training, was selected to represent Dillon and his love for dogs.  There is current work going on right now to allow all twelve Marines to be represented by a PTSD therapy dog.  Dillon is the first.  According to her trainer, "Dillon" is doing well. She is smart but also stubborn (Like Dillon?). Her trainer is very happy with her abilities and confidence in public.

Fallen Hero Portraits

Charlotte Wiskow's greatest love in art is portraiture, and now her major focus is on some very special people—Fallen Heroes, who laid down their lives for their fellow countrymen.  She attributes her success in creating life and warmth in her paintings to careful observation, a feel for the subject, and techniques learned by studying the Old Masters.  She is a Southeast Minnesota native who has been accepting commissions for over thirty years, working mainly in oils.  Other media used in creating her art include pastels, pencil, charcoal, and pen & ink.  Her work embraces a variety of subject matter.
